Originally released in 2002 as a CDR, in an edition too small to speak of, by Distributed History, with a slightly different lineup. Rereleased in 2006 by Reena Spaulings Fine Art, New York (edition 100) again with a slightly different lineup. Rereleased by Dais Records in 2012 in a 10th Anniversary vinyl reissue, in a hand-numbered edition of 500, with another, different, track lineup

“Nostalgia for Communist State” was recorded in 2000 and appeared on the 2001 release “New York Woman,” a miniCD distributed free as part of a video lecture/performance I did at MoMA about music production; and then on the EP “Iron Curtain Girl” (2003)

“Sadness Curtain,” “Reflection Curtain,” and “NY Sorrow” appeared as “Sadeness Curtain,” “Weird Emotion,” and “Goethe” on the CD “Sprung: Audio Dispatch 03,” (free103point9, 2002)
